Wildcats Working Together

Wildcats worked hard to cross the "Radioactive Ocean" :) Equipment to accomplish the mission - scooter, carpet square, hula hoop, two poly spots, noodle, and a rubber chicken. We had a blast! Keep up the good work Wildcats!

Getting back in the groove...

Hey Wildcats!

It was a great first full week of school in physical education! We were busy learning the expectations and putting them into practice. Students are learning the benefits of working together as a team, as we focus on games that require cooperation. Pop quiz - what should your body look and sound like when I blow the train whistle?

I wish we had more time to cover ALL of the crucial information related to living a healthy lifestyle; but, unfortunately, with only an hour of physical education each week, we barely skim the surface. One important aspect of a healthy lifestyle is proper nutrition. Follow these links to learn more...

Welcome back!!!

Welcome back Wildcats!
Hope you all had a fantastically active summer! I'm so excited to hear about your summer adventures - biking, hiking, swimming, and moving! I enjoyed hiking with my dogs and mountain biking with friends.
This blog will be a resource for parents and students to find information regarding physical activity and wellness throughout the school year. Check it out to see what we've been doing in physical education and find ideas for activity at home. See you soon!
